Sorbitan Monopalmitate (Span-40) is yellowish-brown wax. It is slightly soluble in isopropanol, xylene, and liquid paraffin, insoluble in water, and non-toxic. Odorless. Span-40 HLB is 6.7.

Use:
Sorbitan Monopalmitate (Span-40) is used as a dispersant of printing inks and oils, a stabilizer for emulsifying, and an emulsifier for the oil fields.
Packing and Storage:
In 200kg iron drum/plastic drum.
Handle with care. Span-40 should be stored in a cool, dry, and draughty place. Shelf life is 2 years. Then, Span-40 can still be used if qualified after re-check.
